International Week of Justice
Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung
7. – 10. Nov. 2011
What is just and what is unjust today? These questions are difficult to answer, even in the national context. The relevant issues include the just distribution of resources and rights in a particular society and between generations. Moreover, the social equality of men and women is important. A policy of social justice is therefore closely linked to the question of equal opportunities, social and political participation and civil rights and liberties for all.
In the context of the International Week of Justice at the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Berlin we addressed the issue of justice by performing a Live Painting. The event took place parallel to a panel discussion.
Additionally we extended the theme to the buffet, which didn´t stop anyone from eating, but offered material for an ongoing conversation.
Discussing with Conny Czymoch where: Gesine Schwan, Thomas Pogge, Ronald Llamas, Francisco Whitaker Ferreira (Chico Whitaker).
