In context of the 34th “Party Arty” night the artist group KLUB 7 curated a “Backpiece Exhibition”. The idea behind was to restage the BACKPIECE by letting 21 different artists reinterpret this old-school element in their own way. The jeans jacket will be used as a canvas. It will be presented on a party worn by the artist or a friend. The selection of artists come from a wide range: from old-school to new-school writer, from comic artist, illustrator, to urban artist, to contemporary painter and fashion designer. KLUB 7: ” We want to mix up, ironise, appreciate and even dismiss the old-school aesthetic that comes with a Backpiece.”
